Shimon Kefa says to them: Let Mariam depart from among us, for women
are not worthy of the life. || Yeshua says:
Behold, I myself shall inspire her so that I make
her male, in order that she also shall become a living spirit like
you males. For every female who becomes male,
shall enter the Sovereignty of the Heavens.

Shimón Kefa les dice: Qué Máriam salga de entre nosotros, pues las mujeres no son dignas de la vida. || Yeshúa dice: He aquí, yo mismo la inspiraré para que la haga varón, para que ella también se convierta en una espíritu viviente semejante a vosotros varones. Pues cada mujer que se hace varón, entrará en la soberanía de los cielos.

II. transitive, draw, beguile, gather, impel.’ Thus, in the transitive, this term signifies not merely leading or directing, but rather attracting—and so in this context, inspiring. This importantly is the verb used in the Sahidic version of Jn 6:44, paralleling the Gk με εαν μη ο πατηρ ο πεμψας με ελκυση αυτον, ‘unless the Father sending me should draw him’ (Gk ΕΛΚΩ). In Jn 21:8 and Th 8, the same Sahidic verb is used to mean ‘to draw a net out of the sea’.
