74c. He who is manifest [from that place] which is there above, is called ‘he who is below’. And He who is hidden is He who is above him. For it is good that they say ‘the inner and the outer together with what is outside of the outer’. Because of this, the Lord called destruction ‘the outer darkness’; there is nothing beyond it. He says ‘my Father who is in secret’. He says ‘Go into thy inner chamber, shut thy door behind thee (and) pray to thy Father who is in secret’: this is He who is within them all. Yet He who is within them all is the Fullness—beyond Him there is nothing further within. This is what is meant by ‘He who is above them’.

74c. Quien se manifiesta [de aquel lugar] que existe allí arriba, es llamado ‘él que existe abajo’. Y el escondido es Él que existe allí arriba de él. Pues bueno es, lo que suelen decir: ‘el interior y el exterior junto con lo afuera del exterior’. A causa de esto, el Amo llamaba a la destrucción ‘la oscuridad más alejada’; fuera de eso no hay nada. Dice ‘mi Padre que existe en secreto’. Dice «Entra en tu cuarto privado, cierra tu puerta detrás de ti (y) órale a tu Padre que existe en secreto»: éste es Él que existe adentro de todos. Pues Él que existe adentro de todos es la plenitud—más allá de Él no hay otro más adentro. Esto es lo que significa ‘Él que existe arriba de ellos’.
